Just my attempt to tighten up a few things that actually happened on television.

                                              Re-Bookings

WrestleMania X-8 - With the nWo having made their WWE-debut one month earlier at "No Way Out 2002", "WrestleMania" should have (in my opinion) been headlined with one big 6-man match featuring Austin, Rock, and Trips against Hall, Nash, and Hogan. The set-up would feature Flair (who was co-GM at the time) begging Trips for help in his feud with Vince and the nWo; Flair would convince Trips that there's no WWE-title if there is no WWE, with Trips eventually giving-up his title-shot, claiming that "some things are more important than titles". Angle would then step-up as Jericho's WM opponent, citing that he was the "runner-up" of the Rumble and actually beat Trips at "No Way Out".

Royal Rumble 2005 - With Batista or Cena being the two real "contendors" to win the Rumble match, Cena should have won instead of Batista. Batista and Trips were already laying the ground-work for their feud, and a loss in the Rumble could have given Trips ammunition to use against Batista ("Now we won't be able to rule both brands!"), that Batista could then rebel against. This would also establish Cena faster than going through a tournament. Everything would stay the same going into "WrestleMania 21".

Matt Hardy's Heel- & Face-Turns (2009) - With Matt's heel-turn being completely over-the-top ("I killed your dog and set you on fire due to jealousy!"), and the subsequent face-turn being so half-hearted ("My bad." "No biggie."), there's only one real way to make any kind of sense out of the whole thing: Explain that Matt's (legit) absence [due to abdominal surgery] was due to having a tumor removed from his brain. It can be said that the tumor was affecting his thoughts and emotions, and that he had not been in control of himself for quite some time.

CM Punk's Return (2011) - So CM Punk vows to win the WWE-championship at "Money In The Bank, 2011", leave with the title, and cause unparalleled chaos in his wake. It ends-up only taking one day for WWE to figure-out a solution, and only eight days for Punk to return. For something a little different, please click here.
