Aspiringwwewriter.com is
broken down into the following four sections:
Full Bookings
The bulk of my work, and what I consider to be my strongest asset as a potential writer/booker. This section is a collection of long-term ideas for all major WWE programming, in which I begin in present time, and book every television-show and PPV-event up to a specified end-point. There are currently ten entries in this collection, ranging from my first attempt at booking a single episode of “Smackdown” (August 2002), to one entry that spans TWO FULL YEARS of programming (August 2007 thru August 2009), hitting every single piece of programming along the way. Also please note the speed at which I put these pieces together: The aforementioned two-year entry was put together in a mere three months, with most of the other longer entries taking roughly 4-6 weeks.
Miscellaneous Ideas
A collection of ideas that did not fit into any of the Full Bookings above, for one reason or another. Sometimes, I simply didn’t think the timing was right, other times, the idea was tailored to a specific wrestler who might either no longer be part of WWE, or whose character has had a shift in gimmick and/or personality to the point where the idea would no longer suit them. Also included are some takes on the actual product, and a few (admittedly poor) comical pictures.
Articles
I love WWE. Scratch that, I eat, sleep, breathe, and live WWE. To me, it is the ultimate amalgam of sport and entertainment, technique and showmanship, art and fun. However, there is a very real side to the business, and I take it very seriously. These are my thoughts on some of the more serious events to hit WWE in recent years.
