                                              April, 2010

                                              RAW

The night after “WrestleMania”, the Celebrity Host (whomever that may be) announces that – in wanting to give the fans what they want – they are bringing back “Cyber Sunday”. Trips, Shawn, Jericho, and Show all feel they deserve a shot at Cena’s WWE Championship. Trips questions how Jericho is still able to appear on “Raw”, seeing as he is no longer a Tag Champion, to which Show replies that he had a little “talk” with the guest host. This all leads to a tag-match the following week to determine who will be eligible for the vote. Trips-Shawn beat Jericho-Show when Shawn hits Show with the “Super Kick”. At “Cyber Sunday”, the fans can vote for Cena to defend the WWE Championship against either Trips, Shawn, or both in a “Triple Threat” match.

Jericho-Show, upset at their recent losses, want another shot at the Tag Championships; Primo-Carlito tell them to get back in line, but Christian-Shelton are cool with it.

Orton tries to reason with Cody-Tj, but they’re not having it – they tell him that they fully intend to use all of Orton’s “lessons” against him, namely ruthlessness and brutality, and then attack him. Orton looks for back-up, with Masters, Chavo, and Noble all volunteering.

Bourne defends the IC Championship against Noble, Chavo, Santino, and Henry.

                                              Kofi and Miz feud.

                                              SMACKDOWN

The first episode after “WrestleMania” begins with Long in the ring, introducing Matt as the new World Heavyweight Champion. Matt thanks the fans, but his speech is cut short when Vince interrupts. Vince looks absolutely furious as he marches to the ring; he gets right in Long’s face, stares him right in the eye... “Teddy Long… due to your reprehensible display of insubordination last night… I have no choice but to tell you… YOU’RE FIRED!!!” Long can’t help but laugh at Vince’s announcement. Vince: “What are you laughing at? I just told you that YOU’RE FIRED!!!” Long: “Mr. McMahon, or should I say, Vince, you can’t fire me.” Vince: “The hell I can. I’m your boss, I can fire you whenever I damned well feel like it!” Long: “No, Vince, you can’t. Yes, you’re my boss, and you can do a lot of things, but you can’t fire me. See Vince, I realized something last night. Actually, Matt realized something last night. See, you’re my boss, and as much as you might own ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’, ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’ is a publicly-traded company. You like to pretend that you don’t have to answer to anyone, but you have to answer to your share-holders. And the share-holders, by and large, like me. They know that I’ve always been a great General Manager, except for these last few horrible, horrible months, where I actually allowed you to run my life. Well I’m telling you, tonight, no more. You will NEVER force me to do anything ever again. I’m the General Manager of this show, and I’m PROUD to have Matt Hardy as my World Heavyweight Champion. He’s a great wrestler, and an even greater man. Even after all I’ve done to him over the last few months, he still knew that the old Teddy Long – the REAL Teddy Long – was still buried somewhere in this body. And if you EVER try to screw him, or anybody else on the ‘Smackdown’ roster, ever again, I will assure you, that YOUR punishment will be severe.” Vince is totally taken aback by all of this, but stands his ground. Vince: “You’re threatening me? You can’t threaten me.” On cue, Punk and Batista make their way to the ring; they stare menacingly at Matt, but Matt doesn’t back down, getting right in their faces. Long: “Vince, I know you well enough to always have a back-up plan.” GONG! The lights go out, and when they come back on, Taker is in the ring. Matt and Taker toss the heels from the ring.

Long announces that, with “Cyber Sunday” coming up, he will actually allow Matt to pick the three would-be contendors for his title. Matt picks three men that he feels all deserve a chance at the Championship: Rey, Morrison, and Finlay. Punk complains to Long, but Long basically tells him “too bad”.

Long also announces that he has signed Taker/Batista for “Cyber Sunday”, and that the fans will be able to pick the stipulation: “Buried Alive”, “Casket” or “Ambulance” match.

Kidd-Smith want a shot at the Tag Championships.

Kaval defends the US Championship against Hawkins, Slamaster, Yang, and Funaki.

                                              Truth and Ziggler feud.

                                              ECW

Tiffany announces that she is very proud of how Festus has been representing “ECW”, and in the spirit of competition, has signed him to a match at “Cyber Sunday” where he will defend the ECW Championship against any former ECW Champion that wants to face him. Regal is the first to volunteer, as do Swagger from “Raw” and Punk from “Smackdown”.

Also, from this point on, Festus begins making fewer non-wrestling appearances on television, with Tiffany serving as a kind of go-between between him and his would-be opponents when it comes to building a feud. This is done in order to get Festus’ character over as a more “credible” threat (as opposed to the more comedic character he had played before) – he only trusts a handful of people, and is only “unleashed” for actual matches.

                                              Yoshi and Ryder feud.

                                              INTERFED

Festus will defend the ECW Championship against either Swagger (“Raw”), Punk (“Smackdown”), or Regal (“ECW”).

Bourne (from “Raw”) and Kaval (from “Smackdown”) will both captain a 3-man team, where fans can vote on their other two team-mates – Bourne can be joined by Kofi (“Raw”), Truth (“Smackdown”), and/or Yoshi (“ECW”), whereas Kaval can be joined by Miz (“Raw”), Ziggler (“Smackdown”), and/or Ryder (“ECW”).

A Divas Battle Royal will be held, where the fans can pick their outfits.

Tag – No matter who wins the vote, it will be revealed that Carlito-Primo and Kidd-Smith have both been attacked backstage, and are in no condition to compete. Show-Jericho are given the match by default, but end-up losing anyway.

                                              May, 2010

                                              INTERFED

The night after “Cyber Sunday”, Vince announces that he was so happy with the revival of the PPV, that he’s going to bring something else back – the Draft!

                                              DRAFT, 2010

                                              “Raw” receives:
S – Punk, Kidd-Smith-Natalya, Yang, Knox, Eve, Layla
E – Christian, Yoshi, Hurricane, Vladimir

                                              “Smackdown” receives:
R – Swagger, Carlito-Primo, Mickie, Beth, Maryse, Gail
E – Ryder, Shelton, Sheamus, Ezekiel, Reks

                                              “ECW” receives:
                                              R – Orton, Henry, Masters
                                              S – Truth, Slamaster

After the draft, Vince cautions everybody to be wary of their new surroundings, and of what enemies they may make… because the next PPV is “Extreme Rules”.

                                              ///

                                              RAW

Punk immediately targets Cena, attacking him from behind, and laying a real verbal lashing on him, mentioning how Cena’s a bad influence for kids, and that Punk’s beaten him before. Of course, when Cena goes to retaliate, Punk runs. Eventually, it’s announced that things will be settled inside “Hell in a Cell”!

Miz and Yoshi feud, with Miz insulting Yoshi’s nationality. At first, Miz just uses his words, but after a while, begins dressing-up in very offensive outfits. It is decided that the two will meet at “Extreme Rules” in a new type of “Flag” match, where the winner is the one to break his opponent’s flag.

                                              SMACKDOWN

Matt offers another shot at the Championship to Rey, Morrison, and Finlay. Rey and Morrison accept, but Finlay says he has something else to take care of. Matt/Rey/Morrison will happen at “Extreme Rules” in a “Ladder” match!

Hawkins is glad to see his old friend Ryder back on “Smackdown”, and decides to welcome him back. Ryder, having had a big make-over and a better career since the last time he was on “Smackdown”, is embarrassed by Hawkins, but offers to help him out. Hawkins gets a Ryder-esque make-over, and the two reunite as a team. Ryder decides that they need to make a name for themselves, and decide to challenge Taker-Kane at “Extreme Rules”. And beyond that, Ryder challenges them to a “Last Men Standing” match.

Finlay welcomes Sheamus to “Smackdown”, and the two begin a teacher-student team. Finlay wants revenge on Cody-Tj, and Sheamus is happy to help his mentor.

                                              ECW

Orton arrives in “ECW” with a chip on his shoulder, feeling that he should automatically be granted a shot at Festus’ Championship. Dreamer has a problem with this, leading to a short feud between the two, which Orton wins quite easily. Tiffany, again acting as Festus’ mouth-piece, tells Orton that Festus has already agreed to defend his title against all challengers, but that she wanted to make sure Orton had earned the shot. Orton insults and threatens Tiffany, but Tiffany stands her ground, making it clear that, as the General Manager of “ECW”, she won’t take any crap from anyone. Orton wants to know what makes her think he won’t attack her, to which she replies that she’s the only person with the power to sign the matches he wants. Orton replies that, once he’s ECW Champion, she’ll have no choice but to do what he wants; Tiffany replies that becoming ECW Champion will be quite a challenge, as she’s already signed the match for “Extreme Rules”, and has made it an “Extreme Rules” match.

Ezekiel is kept off of television.

                                              INTERFED

Shawn and Trips mention that they don’t have matches for the “Extreme Rules” PPV, and jokingly discuss potential opponents. After mentioning such legends as Doink the Clown, Duke “The Dumpster” Droese, and Alex “The Pug” Porteau (“Who?”), they realize that Batista still doesn’t have a match. Trips: “You know I never get tired of beating on Big Dave.” Shawn looks disgusted. Trips: “No, ‘Dave’ is Batista’s first name.” Shawn: “Oh, that ‘Big Dave’.” Trips: “Yeah, I can’t get enough of beating Big Dave’s bald head.” Shawn: “He has hair now.” Trips: “No, the other ‘Big Dave’.” This all concludes with Trips and Shawn asking for a 3-way match against Batista; the guest-host and Vince initially deny the request, but Batista accepts the challenge. Trips: “I knew Big Dave wanted a three-way with us.” Shawn: “You can’t say that on television!” Trips: “No, the match.” Shawn: “Oh, okay.”

Jericho-Show want another shot at the Tag Championships held by Christian-Shelton; after decimating Carlito-Primo and Kidd-Smith, they get their rematch, and this time, it’s a “Tornado” match.

Cody-Tj don’t have any interest in the challenge made by Finlay-Sheamus, but when Finlay-Sheamus invade “Raw”, the match is made, with the added stipulation that it’s a “Shillelagh-on-a-Pole” match. An interviewer later asks Finlay why he’s not seeking revenge on Orton, to which Finlay laughs, “He’s facing Festus.”

                                              ///

Cody-Tj/Finlay-Sheamus – Cody grabs the shillelagh first, and beats on Finlay with it for a while. Finlay eventually tags Sheamus, who is so big and powerful that the shillelagh has no effect on him; Sheamus grabs the shillelagh, hits Tj once, and gets the pin for his team. As Finlay and Sheamus head to the back, Tj gets down on his knees, and allows Cody to brutalize him for about thirty seconds; Cody then helps Tj up, and the two hug before heading to the back. The announcers ask what we just saw.

Miz/Yoshi – Before the match begins, Miz insults Yoshi’s heritage, and catches him with a thumb to the eye. The bell rings, and Miz is able to brutalize Yoshi for a few minutes. Yoshi, however, fights back, nailing Miz with a big kick to the face. With Miz down, Yoshi climbs and grabs the American flag, but refuses to break it. With Yoshi trying to decide whether or not winning the match is worth breaking the flag, Miz catches him from behind with the “Skull Crushing Finale”. Miz quickly grabs the Japanese flag, breaks it, and spits on Yoshi.

Backstage: Shelton is found unconscious in his locker-room, obviously having been attacked. Long demands answers from Show-Jericho, but they claim innocence.

Taker-Kane/Ryder-Hawkins – Ryder and Hawkins are cocky as ever. After about a minute, Taker catches Ryder with the “Tombstone”; Hawkins runs in, but is caught with a “Tombstone” from Kane. The referee counts to ten, Taker-Kane win.

Shawn/Trips/Batista – The match is pretty much a handicap match, with Trips and Shawn taking turns beating on Batista. They brawl all over the arena, leading to the easy pin by Trips.

Backstage: Christian is interviewed, confirming that Shelton will not be able to compete tonight, but says that he has been allowed to search for an interim partner. When asked if he has time to find one, he nervously replies that he hopes so.

Festus/Orton – Orton makes his way to the ring, and decides to stand outside the ring by the announcer’s table. Festus makes his entrance, and runs full-speed to the ring, into the ring, and then out of the ring where Orton is standing; unfortunately, Festus was so focused on getting to Orton that he didn’t realize Orton had grabbed a chair, which he immediately begins beating Festus down with. Orton continues the assault, hitting Festus with the chair again, and again, and again. Festus keeps getting back to his feet, but Orton keeps beating him down. Eventually, Orton throws the chair on the ground, and delivers an “RKO” on the chair, giving him the pin. Almost immediately after the pin, however, Festus fights back to his feet, and Orton bails while Festus stumbles around the ring. As Orton makes his way back up the ramp, he crosses paths with Tiffany, who is running down to the ring; Orton makes sure to rub the belt in Tiffany’s face, but Tiffany’s only concern is Festus.

Christian-Shelton/Show-Jericho – Show-Jericho make their way to the ring, where Jericho grabs the mic, and brags about how easy this match is going to be. Christian makes his entrance, obviously a bit nervous that he has to go it alone, but does his best to hide it. His music stops, and he’s standing at the bottom of the ramp, readying himself to get in the ring. YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME! Christian is just as shocked as anyone as EDGE makes his way to the ring! The announcers mention that we haven’t seen Edge in about a year, and that Edge and Christian are brothers and multi-time Tag Champions; they also mention all of the horrible things Jericho has said about Edge, as Jericho complains to everyone. Edge meets Christian at the bottom of the ramp, and the two hug, before sliding into the ring together. Eventually, the match starts, with Christian starting with Jericho. With Christian in the ring, Edge sneaks into the ring, ducks down in the corner, and “SPEARS” CHRISTIAN! The ref isn’t sure what to make of it, but when Jericho hits a “Lionsault” on Christian and pins him, he has no choice but to make the three-count. Jericho celebrates, but Show wants to know what’s going on; at first, Jericho tells him not to worry about it, but Show continues to get more irritated with him… until he’s “speared” by Edge! Edge and Jericho celebrate and leave the ring together. Again, the announcers question what we just saw.

                                              Matt/Rey/Morrison – Matt wins.

Cena/Punk – Punk puts up a great fight, coming at Cena mano-a-mano, even kicking out of an “Attitude Adjuster”, but Cena eventually wins. After the match, Cena extends his hand to Punk, but Punk just storms out of the ring.

                                              INTERFED

It is announced that the next PPV will be “King of the Ring”, with the winner earning a shot at the Champion of their choice at “Summerslam”. It is also announced that all three Heavyweight champions – Cena, Matt, and Orton – will be on hand for the Finals of the tournament.

                                              RAW

Shawn is the first person to volunteer for the “King of the Ring” tournament, but is interrupted by the “Hart Dynasty”. They mention that it’s their time to show what they can do, as Kidd has decided to focus on the IC Championship, while Smith will focus on the WWE Championship. Shawn is quick to mention the history behind he and the Hart Family, and wants a match right then and there; the Guest Host signs a Shawn/Smith “’KOR’ Qualifying” match. Smith does a decent job of overpowering Shawn, but Shawn’s experience is just too much to overcome.

Trips follows Shawn’s lead, and throws his hat into the “KOR” tournament – Miz is quick to answer, bragging that it’s time for Trips to step aside. Trips wins their match.

The third and final qualifying match is a 3-way between Mvp, Kofi, and Punk, which Punk wins.

Show claims that, because he and Jericho technically won their match at “Extreme Rules”, he should still be one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions; Jericho and Edge appear on the Titantron, and explain that, much like how Jericho had a clause in his original contract that he could replace Edge should Edge be injured, he could also reinstate Edge as his “official” partner when Edge was healed. Show is furious and wants a rematch, which Jericho-Edge (egotically) grant him; right on cue, Christian arrives, claiming that his brother’s treatment of him was disgraceful, and volunteers to be Show’s partner.

Kidd follows through on wanting the IC Championship, and challenges Bourne to a match at “King of the Ring”.

Cody-Tj announce that they consider themselves disappointments for not qualifying for the “King of the Ring” tournament, and claim that they “Will now punish ourselves accordingly.” They proceed to take turns punching each other in the face, then thank the fans for their support; they head to the back together.

                                              SMACKDOWN

Long signs two “’KOR’ Qualifying” Matches – Batista/Taker, and Morrison/McIntyre/Ziggler. Batista and Morrison win their matches.

Swagger complains to Long that he should be part of the “KOR” tournament, so Long grants him a qualifying match against a mystery opponent. That opponent? Khali. Swagger plays a lot of cat-and-mouse against Khali, eventually tripping Khali up, and dismantling his leg by use of the ropes and posts; one Corner Slingshot Splash on the bad knee later, and Swagger wins.

Jericho-Edge brag about the brilliant plan they pulled off, only to be interrupted by Shelton. Shelton wants a rematch against them, and unveils his partner – Haas.

Kaval realizes that some people consider him an unworthy champion, and announces that he wants to defend the US Championship against the man he beat for the title, Rey. Rey accepts, and the two shake hands.

                                              ECW

Tiffany announces that, due to injuries sustained at “Extreme Rules”, Festus will be out for an unknown length of time.

Masters begins to suck-up to Orton, acting as his gopher, etc. Dreamer finds Masters’ behavior disgusting, and challenges him to a match, which Tiffany quickly makes a “’KOR’ Qualifying” match. Masters wins.

The final “KOR” spot will be determined by a 6-man “Gauntlet” match, featuring Regal, Truth, Henry, Burchill, Goldust, and Slamaster. Truth beats Burchill in the finals.

                                              INTERFED

                                              The “KOR” Brackets are announced:
                                              - Shawn/Batista (R/S)
                                              - Swagger/Truth (S/E)
                                              - Punk/Morrison (R/S)
                                              - Trips/Masters (R/E)

Vince announces a new idea of his: a “Television Championship”. With so many exciting WWE Superstars, it’s not fair that some fans don’t get to see all of them. This new Television Champion will appear on – and wrestle on – every episode of “Raw”, “Smackdown”, “ECW”, and “Superstars”. And how shall the very first “Television Champion” be determined? By unifying the IC and US Championships. At “King of the Ring”, Bourne, Kaval, Kidd, and Rey will compete in a 4-way match, with the winner being crowned the new Television Champion.

Jericho-Edge will defend the Tag Championships against Show-Christian (“Raw”) and Haas-Benjamin (“Smackdown”).
                                              KING OF THE RING, 2010
3 - “King of the Ring”:
                                              Shawn/Batista
                                              Swagger/Truth
                                              Punk/Morrison
                                              Trips/Masters
                                              2 - Tag: JERICHO-EDGE/Haas-Benjamin/Show-Christian
                                              2 - TV: Bourne/Kaval/Kidd/Rey

                                              ///

Quarterfinal: Shawn/Batista – Batista has Shawn prepped for a “Batista Bomb”, but Shawn flips over Batista’s head and connects with the “Super Kick” for the win.

Quarterfinal: Trips/Masters – Trips makes his way to the ring first. Masters makes his entrance, but as he’s walking down the ramp, he’s attacked by a returning Festus! Festus mauls Masters in the aisle, until Tiffany manages to come out and calm Festus down. The referee doesn’t know what to do, so he rules that, if Masters can’t make it to the ring by the count of ten, Trips will win the match by forfeit. Masters, obviously in a lot of pain, struggles to make it to the ring, and gets in by 9. It’s all for naught, however, as Masters quickly succumbs to a “Pedigree”. Trips shrugs his shoulders and accepts the easy win.

Quarterfinal: Punk/Morrison – Punk makes his way to the ring, preaching that Morrison’s entire aesthetic is based on the “sinful” 70’s rock-and-roll life-style. Morrison decides to let his actions speak for him, catching Punk right in the mouth with a big kick. Back-and-forth match, with Morrison reversing out of a “Go To Sleep” into a “Moonlight Drive” for the win.

Quarterfinal: Swagger/Truth – Truth has a few bursts of offense, but he’s no match for Swagger’s scientific wrestling. Swagger hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the win.

Tag – Edge spears Haas for the win. Jericho-Edge run up the ramp before anybody can retaliate.

Semifinal: Shawn/Swagger – Pretty even, back-and-forth match between the two. In the end, Swagger has Shawn down in the corner, and goes for the Corner Slingshot Splash – Shawn rolls out of the way, though, and while Swagger tries to shake-off the effects of the missed Splash, Shawn goes to “Super Kick” Swagger… only for Swagger to catch it! Swagger pulls Shawn towards him, and hits the Gutwrench Bomb for the win!

Semifinal: Trips/Morrison – Trips goes for the “Pedigree”, but Morrison reverses into the “Moonlight Drive”. Trips kicks out. Trips makes a comeback, but Morrison hits the “Flying Chuck”, followed by “Starship Pain” for the win!

TV – Bourne pins Kaval to become the first WWE Television Champion.

Finals: Morrison/Swagger – Before the match begins, all three Heavyweight Champions (Cena, Matt, and Orton) are welcomed to sit by the Announce Table. As Morrison and Swagger make their entrances, the announcers mention what a huge accomplishment it was that they beat Shawn and Trips. Very even match, with both men kicking-out of each others’ finishers. Eventually, Morrison goes for a “Flying Chuck”, but Swagger – in one fluid motion – catches him around the waist and hits the Gutwrench Bomb for the win. Swagger is announced as the winner, but Swagger doesn’t waste any time with the celebration – he heads right over to Matt, and challenges him. Matt accepts the challenge, only for Swagger to cheap-shot him. Cena then hits Swagger, and Orton hits Cena. This then leads to Morrison getting involved, then “DX”, then everyone else that was in the tournament. Everyone’s brawling, the gong sounds, the lights go out, Taker appears in the ring. The faces clear the heels out of the ring and we go off the air.

                                              July, 2010

                                              RAW

Show feels that, having been such a dominant Tag Champion, he deserves a shot at Cena’s WWE Championship. Cena answers Show’s challenge by offering Show a deal: the next PPV is “Bragging Rights”, in which all three brands will be represented in a 3-way, 15-man, tag-match, and as the WWE Champion, Cena has the right to pick one of his partners before-hand – if he picks Show, and they win at “Bragging Rights”, he’ll grant Show his title-match.

Trips and Shawn are both upset about how “King of the Ring” went, though Trips takes the loss much harder. The Guest Host tells them that they are an integral part of “Raw”, and decides to give them – as a tag-team – one of the PPV Qualifying matches; when asked who their opponents will be, the Guest Host decides that it’ll be whomever is brave enough to actually challenge them.

Kozlov and Knox decide that they want to reestablish themselves, and target Trips-Shawn. This is signed as a PPV Qualifying match.

Christian picks a feud with Punk, insulting him on his first-round loss in the “KOR” tournament. Miz and Yoshi continue to feud. Smith-Kidd pick a fight with Mvp and Kofi. All eight men are entered into an 8-man “Battle Royal” PPV Qualifying match.

Cody-Tj begin going by the name “Immolation” (more or less meaning "self-sacrifice").

                                              SMACKDOWN

Matt picks his first partner for his “Bragging Rights” team – Taker!

Swagger, feeling like his egotistical, bullying ways are now justified with his “KOR” win, picks a feud with Rey. Swagger is sure to mention Rey not winning the Television Championship. The match is signed, and made into a PPV Qualifying match. During the build-up, Swagger begins using a Splash from the Top Rope as a signature move.

                                              Finlay-Sheamus dominate the tag-ranks.

Long says the Tag Champions have a right to be on the “Bragging Rights” team, and are given a PPV Qualifying match against Finlay-Sheamus.

                                              ECW

Masters apologizes profusely to Orton for losing in the first round of the “KOR” tournament, but Orton assures him that it’s ok. Orton names Masters his first pick for his “Bragging Rights” team.

Tiffany announces that, at “Bragging Rights”, there will be a 6-man tag to determine the other three representatives for their team. Tiffany announces one team as being Truth, Henry, and the returning Festus, but before she can announce their opponents, she is interrupted by Dreamer. Dreamer is upset about being glanced over to represent “ECW”, especially since he has been there “since day one”. Tiffany apologizes, and notes that she was only trying to assemble the best team possible; she quickly catches her poor wording and apologizes again, but Dreamer interrupts, telling her “If everything I’ve been through in my life doesn’t prove that I should represent ‘ECW’, I guess I know where I stand in your new vision for ‘ECW’.” Later that night, Dreamer attacks both Truth and Henry with a Singapore Cane.

Regal and Burchill are named the last two men to potentially represent “ECW”, teaming with Dreamer.

                                              INTERFED

Bourne (from “Raw”), appears on every episode of “Raw”, “Smackdown”, “ECW”, and “Superstars”, defending the Television Championship against all-comers (usually low-carders). Morrison challenges him for the PPV, which Bourne accepts.

Trips-Shawn/Vladimir-Knox – Trips hits the “Pedigree” on Vladimir for the win.

Swagger/Rey – With Rey down, Swagger climbs the turnbuckle for the Top-Rope Splash; Rey springs up, though, and knocks Swagger’s leg out from under him, causing Swagger to fall and straddle the turnbuckle. Rey signals that he’s going to go for a Top-Rope Hurricanrana, but Swagger reverses that into a Powerbomb from the Top-Rope for the win.

ECW – The heels manage to keep Truth in the ring, rotating in and out of the ring and keeping him in their corner. Eventually, Truth manages to tag Festus, who clears house, and debuts a new variation of his Finisher on Regal – Festus picks his opponent up in a Fireman’s Carry, then performs an Airplane Spin before hitting the Flapjack – leading to the pin. After the match, Burchill checks on Regal while Dreamer high-tails it out of there.

Battle Royal – The match begins, and everyone pairs off: Christian/Punk, Yoshi/Miz, Kofi/Kidd, and Mvp/Smith. After a bit of battling, Punk rolls to the outside; Christian follows him, and chases him around the ring. Punk eventually gets back into the ring by Yoshi/Miz, but when Christian follows after him, Miz tosses him (Christian) out! Yoshi then eliminates Miz, and Punk eliminates Yoshi. Christian and Miz brawl to the back. Punk then hangs back, while Kofi-Mvp fight Kidd-Smith; Kidd attempts to hip-toss Kofi out, but Kofi reverses, sending Kidd flying. Shortly after, Kofi-Mvp eliminate Smith. It’s down to Punk, Mvp, and Kofi. The faces begin to double-team Punk, and nearly eliminate him several times, but Punk always maneuvers back into the ring. Eventually, they get Punk over the ropes and onto the apron, when Mvp tosses Kofi! Kofi is upset, but Mvp shrugs, as if to say “Them’s the breaks”. Mvp and Punk wrestle each-other for a bit, with Mvp whipping Punk into the corner and hitting a “Drive By”. Mvp has Punk by the ropes, but Punk decides to stop playing by the rules – he kicks Mvp in the balls, and tosses for the win.

Backstage: Orton and Masters confront Tiffany, and demand that she make sure their team-mates do what they’re supposed to. Tiffany side-steps Orton’s threat, promising that she will personally make sure that they “do the right thing”.

Jericho-Edge/Finlay-Sheamus – Jericho and Edge both try to out-wrestle Sheamus, but Sheamus is able to overpower them both. Eventually, Edge whips Sheamus into the ropes on the heels’ side, where Jericho pulls the ropes down, causing Sheamus to fall out of the ring. Jericho then goes to work on Sheamus on the outside, while Edge taunts Finlay; Finlay grabs the shillelagh and chases after the heels, in, out, and around the ring, eventually leading to Finlay hitting the heels with the shillelagh in plain view of the ref. Jericho-Edge win by disqualification and head up the ramp, while Finlay and Sheamus argue with the ref.

Backstage: All of “Team Raw” are in the back, with Punk being stared down by everyone else. The four other members threaten Punk with personal harm if he doesn’t cooperate, to which Punk facetiously responds that he would never dream of such a thing.

Bourne/Morrison – Morrison has Bourne down, and goes for the “Starship Pain”, but Bourne moves, causing Morrison to splat on the mat. With Morrison down, Bourne now climbs the ropes, and goes for the Shooting Star, but now Morrison moves, leading to Bourne crashing to the mat. Morrison, holding his ribs, now tries “Starship Pain” one more time, connects, and gets the pin. Bourne insists on being the one to hand the Television Championship over to Morrison, and the two hug.

Backstage: Matt is backstage with Swagger, Jericho, and Edge; Matt says he realizes that the other three of them don’t like him, but that they need to put their differences aside for one night. Swagger wants to know why they should do that, to which Matt responds that, more than anything, the four of them all want to prove that they’re four of the greatest wrestlers in the world; winning this match would show that “Smackdown” is the greatest brand and that “Smackdown” is the home to the greatest athletes. Swagger likes this answer and shakes Matt’s hand, but Jericho and Edge want to know what happens if they don’t help. Just then, the lights go out – Jericho and Edge begin crying for help, but when the lights come back on, we see that Long just accidentally hit the light-switch as he entered the room.

“Bragging Rights” – The teams are as follows: Cena-Show-Trips-Shawn-Punk (“Raw”), Matt-Taker-Swagger-Jericho-Edge (“Smackdown”), and Orton-Masters-Festus-Truth-Henry (“ECW”). The match will feature one member of each team in the ring at all times, and if one member of a team is eliminated, the entire team is eliminated. The three champions – Cena, Matt, and Orton – are about to start the match, but when Orton realizes he’s in there with the two other Heavyweight Champions, he tags out to Masters. The bell rings, and almost immediately after it does, Truth and Henry leave, bringing Festus with them; Orton and Masters yell to find out what’s going on, but Cena spins Masters around, and hits the “Attitude Adjuster”; Matt then lifts Masters, hits the “Twist of Fate”, and pins him, eliminating “ECW” from the match. Orton chastises Masters as they make their way up the ramp. The rest of the match is contested under normal tag rules. The end comes when Shawn hits the “Super Kick” on Edge, leading to Jericho coming in to break-up the pin; this then leads to Trips entering the ring, and shortly thereafter, everything erupts into a wild brawl. The ref loses control as all ten men are brawling on the outside, until Shawn and Jericho get back into the ring; Shawn hits “Sweet Chin Music” on Jericho and gets the win for his team.

                                              RAW

The night after “Bragging Rights”, Show is quick to address the deal he made with Cena, that being that if “Team Raw” won, Cena would grant him a shot at the WWE Championship. Cena makes his way out, and is quick to oblige Show. The two shake hands, but are interrupted by Punk; Punk takes offense at Show getting a shot, since Punk had to wrestle twice last night, meaning that he is doubly deserving of a title-shot. Shawn and Trips then make their way out, with Shawn claiming that, not only did he wrestle twice last night, he also scored the win for his team. Punk then asks Trips what he’s done to deserve a shot, to which Trips replies, “I’m a 13-time World Champion. I’ve earned the right to fight for the title anytime I want.” The Guest Host signs the 5-way match for “Summerslam”.

                                              Christian and Miz feud.

Bourne cuts a promo, saying that, despite losing the Television Championship, he still intends on giving 100% in every match, and thrilling the fans every night. He has a match that night against Kidd, with the match going about fifteen minutes and Bourne winning at the end. After the match, and before Kidd leaves, the Guest Host appears on the Tron: he pays both men compliments, saying that they are both incredible wrestlers and that they are both deserving of title-shots. With that in mind, he is bringing back the Cruiserweight Championship, and that the new champion will be crowned at “Summerslam”.

Yang and Hurricane begin making more appearance on TV. Vladimir-Knox pick a feud with them, with Yang-Hurricane getting the upperhand in their matches.

                                              SMACKDOWN

Matt and Swagger are on a collision-course. Swagger talks a big game, bragging about all of his accomplishments as well as how he’s previously beaten Matt for the ECW Championship, but also promises that he won’t attack Matt from behind, since he wants Matt at 100% at “Summerslam” – he sticks to his word.

Jericho-Edge complain about the referee’s decision at “Bragging Rights”, saying that it shouldn’t have counted since Jericho wasn’t the legal man when the fall was counted. They then go on to brag about how they were the stars of their team, which leads to Taker making his entrance. Jericho and Edge begin to back-peddle a bit, saying that they know Taker is upset about losing the match, but that they themselves can’t be held responsible for the referee’s mistake. Taker isn’t hearing it, and grabs both men by their throats – the heels break out of it, though, and begin to double-team Taker. BOOM! The flames erupt, and Kane makes his way to the ring. Jericho-Edge bail before Kane can get ahold of them.

Kaval renews his feud with Rey.

Primo discusses the upcoming resurrection of the “Cruiserweight Championship” with Carlito, and mentions that he would love to win it. Carlito understands, and fully supports Primo in his quest for the title. Primo begins wrestling singles-matches, with Carlito in his corner.

                                              ECW

Orton is furious about being embarrassed at “Bragging Rights”, and demands answers from Tiffany. Tiffany – not at all intimidated – gets in Randy’s face, and tells him that, yes, she would have liked to have won at “Bragging Rights”, but she fully understands why his team-mates walked out of the match. Orton asks her what kind of GM she is, to which she replies that she’s the kind of GM that wouldn’t want to put her employees into uncomfortable situations. Orton says that having to team with them in the first place made him uncomfortable, which causes Tiffany to apologize, and grant him what he claims to want: at “Summerslam”, Orton will team with Masters and Dreamer against Festus, Truth, and Henry. In the mean-time, Orton informs Masters not to let him down again.

                                              INTERFED

New Television Champion Morrison makes the rounds, eventually leading to a much-hyped match on “Raw” against Trips. The match ends-up being just like their “King of the Ring” match, with Morrison reversing out of the “Pedigree” into the “Moonlight Drive”, Trips kicking out, and Morrison hitting the “Flying Chuck” and the “Starship Pain” for the win. Trips is in disbelief, and challenges him to a rematch at “Summerslam”. Morrison grants it to him.

Later, Shawn reminds Trips that he’s also scheduled to compete for the WWE Championship; Trips says that he’s already been WWE Champion, he wants to be the Television Champion. The matches are changed.

The new Cruiserweight Championship will be up for grabs in an 8-way “Tornado” match, featuring Bourne, Kidd, Yang, and Hurricane from “Raw”, and Rey, Kaval, Primo, and Funaki from “Smackdown”.

ECW – Festus destroys everyone, pinning Masters for the win.

Cruiser – Smith accompanies Kidd to ringside, while Carlito accompanies Primo; Smith and Carlito end-up brawling on the outside and getting ejected from ring-side. Bourne pins Kidd to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.

Christian/Miz – Christian goes for the “Unprettier”, but Miz reverses it into the “Skull Crushing Finale” for the win.

Jericho-Edge/Taker-Kane – Jericho-Edge try to use every dirty trick in the book, but Kane hits the “Tombstone” on Jericho for the win.

Morrison/Trips – The finish is pretty much identical to the last two matches: Trips goes for the “Pedigree”, but Morrison reverses into the “Moonlight Drive”, with Trips kicking-out at two. Morrison then hits the “Flying Chuck”, but this time, when he goes for “Starship Pain”, Trips kicks out. Morrison decides to set him up for another “Moonlight Drive”, but Trips reverses into the “Pedigree”! 1, 2, Morrison kicks out! Trips can’t believe it, and pulls him up for a second “Pedigree”; he locks Morrison in position, but Morrison reverses into “Moonlight Drive” for the win. After the match, Trips raises Morrison’s hand and applauds his efforts.

Cena/Shawn/Show/Punk – Show gets knocked to the outside, Punk hits the “Go To Sleep” on Shawn, and Cena hits the “Attitude Adjuster” on Punk, tossing Punk onto Shawn, and pinning Shawn for the win.

Matt/Swagger – Swagger dominates most of the match, but can’t keep Matt down for the count. Matt finally mounts a comeback, hitting the “Side Effect” and the Second-Rope Legdrop, but when he goes for the “Twist of Fate”, Swagger spins him around and hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the win and the title.

                                              September, 2010

                                              RAW

The night after “Summerslam”, Punk is out to complain about his match, namely that the only reason Cena pinned Shawn was because Punk had just hit Shawn with the “Go To Sleep”. Punk demands a 1-on-1 rematch, but the Guest Host interrupts him. The Guest Host announces that Punk has already had several matches with Cena, and that he plans on giving the next title-shot to people who have never faced Cena for the WWE Championship. At “Breaking Point”, Cena will defend the WWE Championship against Mvp, Kofi, Christian, and Miz! And on top of that, that match will be the first ever “Submissions Scramble” match – it will be just like a regular “Scramble” match, but falls can only be won by submission.

Bourne defends the Cruiserweight Championship against Kidd, and wins again; Smith attacks Bourne after the match. Hurricane goes to help Bourne, but he gets beaten down, too. Bourne-Hurricane then face Kidd-Smith, with Kidd-Smith getting themselves disqualified for beating on them too much; Smith continues to work on Hurricane, to the point where Hurricane has to be stretchered out. Hurricane is off TV for a while. Cody-Tj are impressed with Smith, and offer him a spot with them; Smith thinks it over, and decides to join them, with Kidd and Natalya supporting his decision.

With Smith now aligned with Cody-Tj (and following the same gimmick – unkempt appearance, jeans, black t-shirt, beating on each other when one loses a match), Cody-Tj help Kidd against Bourne. The four men surround Bourne, and are obviously about to dissect him, BREAK IT DOWN! “DX” run out to make the save!

                                              SMACKDOWN

The first episode after “Summerslam” opens with a big celebration for Swagger’s win, which Swagger has dubbed “An All-American Celebration (For an All-American Champion)”. Swagger brags for a while, talking about how easy it was to beat Matt, but is interrupted by Matt himself. Matt: “I’m not out here to complain or to make excuses. The better man won last night. And it didn’t take any dirty tricks or anything, you just flat-out beat me last night. Last night, you proved to me – and everybody else – that you’re the real deal, and you have what it takes to be a great champion. Congratulations.” Matt offers his hand, and Swagger shakes. Matt: “I do have a question, though: what’s with the bragging? I mean, you beat me clean, everybody saw it, so why run your mouth? Actions speak louder than words, what could have been an incredible moment in your career last night is now soured by you not shutting up.” Swagger smirks: “I’m ruining an incredible moment, eh? You know what, maybe you’re right. Maybe that moment last night wasn’t that incredible. I mean, all I did was beat you, you’re right, that’s NOT incredible. There’s nothing incredible about beating Matt Hardy.” It’s now Matt’s turn to smirk: “You know what, I’m glad you feel that way. I’m glad you think I’m easy to beat. Because I’ve already spoken with Teddy Long, and he’s already signed a rematch between us for ‘Breaking Point’.” Swagger is a bit shocked: “I’ve already beaten you, I shouldn’t have to beat you again.” Matt: “What’s wrong, I thought beating me was easy?” Swagger: “Exactly my point, I shouldn’t have to defend this Championship against people that are easy to beat, I should be defending this Championship against the best in the world. And quite frankly, you ain’t it.” Matt: “You see, this is exactly my point. For the last two months, you’ve been a complete gentleman to me. You knew that you’d be facing me at ‘Summerslam’, you could have attacked me from behind, or paid other people to beat me up, and you didn’t. You represented yourself with class, and you could have represented that Championship with class, but you’ve proven yourself a fraud. You couldn’t wait to face me before, but now you won’t?” Swagger: “Matt, I’ve already beaten you. Several times.” Matt: “Then why don’t you do it once more?” Swagger thinks for a moment. Swagger: “I’ll tell you what. I’ll go along with this rematch, but on my terms. How about we find out exactly what your ‘Breaking Point’ is, Matt? You and me, in a ‘Knock Out’ match… the only way to win is to knock your opponent unconscious.” Swagger now sticks his hand out, and Matt shakes it.

Jericho-Edge are upset about losing the Tag Championships, and demand a rematch against Taker-Kane. Taker-Kane are glad to grant them a rematch, but are attacked by Batista. Batista blames Taker for all of his recent woes and losses, saying that ever since Taker got into his head, he hasn’t been the same. With Batista helping Jericho-Edge, Rey helps Taker-Kane.

McIntyre wants a word with Ziggler backstage. They discuss the fact that the two of them have been left off of TV a lot lately, and that two men of their talents should be dominating the brand. They decide to team-up. They attack “Cryme Tyme” to send a message.

                                              ECW

Orton berates Masters in the middle of the ring, but Masters isn’t having it. Orton threatens him with physical harm, but Masters dares him to bring it. Orton then acts like cooler heads will prevail, but then goes for the “RKO”; Masters, however, holds Orton up in the air, and reverses it into the “Masterlock”. Masters releases after a while, causing Orton to run from the ring. Masters grabs a mic: “I’ve been picked on and made fun of for long enough. You think you’re better than me? You and me at ‘Breaking Point’!” Tiffany signs the match.

Orton spends the next few weeks trying to come-up with a suitable Submission Hold, and finally decides on an apropos one: The Cobra Clutch.

Dreamer, still trying to prove that he embodies “ECW” more than anyone, attacks Festus, both verbally and physically. Seeing as how Dreamer has no problem attacking people with weapons, Tiffany makes the match an “Extreme Rules” match.

                                              INTERFED

With his hopes of another shot at the WWE Championship dashed, Punk challenges Morrison for the Television Champion at the PPV.

Smackdown 6-Man – Taker hits the “Tombstone” on Jericho for the win.

                                              Morrison/Punk – Morrison wins.

Backstage: Miz is interviewed, and gives his honest thoughts about his match tonight. Speaking in a very uncharacteristically frank manner, he says that tonight is a huge chance for him, and that he realizes he has no easy feat in front of him. He does say that tonight is his chance to prove that he’s Championship material.

McIntyre-Ziggler/Jtg-Shad – McIntyre hits the Snap DDT on Jtg for the win.

Festus/Dreamer – Dreamer loads up on weapons early, but they barely phase Festus; Festus eventually gets (extra) angry, grabs the chair out of Dreamer’s hand, and wallops him several times with it for the pin.

Backstage: Mvp and Kofi are interviewed, and basically echo Miz’s sentiments. They are friends, but are both seeking to prove themselves tonight.

Raw 6-Man – Shawn Super-Kicks Cody and Tj out of the ring, one after the other, while Trips hits the “Pedigree” on Smith; Bourne then climbs the ropes and hits “Air Bourne” for the win. Trips and Shawn raise Bourne’s arms in victory.

Orton/Masters – Masters gets Orton in the “Masterlock”, but Orton runs and falls towards the corner, forcing Orton’s face to hit the turnbuckle. Orton quickly locks on the Cobra Clutch, and Masters taps.

Backstage: Christian is interviewed, and echos the sentiments that Miz, Mvp, and Kofi did. This is his night to step-up and prove himself the best in WWE.

Swagger/Matt – This is a more back-and-forth match than their “Summerslam” match. At the end, Swagger hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Matt kicks out. At that moment, EZEKIEL sneaks out of the crowd, and blind-sides the ref. Ezekiel then goes to work on Matt, attacking him and drilling him into the mat several times. Ezekiel then wakes the ref while Swagger covers Matt for the easy win.

Scramble – Christian and Kofi begin the match; they wrestle back and forth with no clear-cut advantage. Mvp is the next in, and the three take turns on each-other, with no falls being scored. Miz is the next to enter, and sneaks around the ring, waiting for his spot. With about thirty seconds left until the next entrant, Christian hits the “Killswitch” on Mvp, followed by Kofi hitting the “Trouble in Paradise” on Christian; Kofi goes to cover, but Miz sneaks in, hits the “Skull Crushing Finale” on Kofi, but then, realizing pins don’t count, desperately tries to think of something to do, eventually deciding on a Boston Crab on Kofi as the buzzer sounds. Cena makes his entrance, and Miz hightails it out of the ring; with the other three competitors down, Cena locks the STF on Mvp, but Mvp makes it to the ropes. Cena then locks the STF on Christian, but Christian also makes it to the ropes. Cena gives it one more try, this time on Kofi, but Kofi ALSO fights his way to the ropes. Miz then tries to sneak-up behind Cena and apply the “Skull Crushing Finale”, but Cena reverses into the “Attitude Adjuster”, laying Miz out. Cena goes to put the STF on Miz, but the others break it up. The five men then continue to fight until the buzzer sounds; the lack of any falls results in Cena retaining. Miz storms out of the ring, while the other four men shake hands and congratulate each other.

                                              INTERFED

Vince announces that he has had another one of his great ideas: the next PPV will be a brand new concept, entitled “Danger Zone”, in which all of the biggest feuds will be settled in some of WWE’s most dangerous matches.

                                              RAW

The night after “Breaking Point” opens with Cena making his way to the ring. Cena says that all four of his opponents proved something to him the night before. He talks about how he’s made Trips, Shawn, and Orton all submit to the STF, but last night, not one of his opponents did. They were on a mission to win the Championship, and while they might not have accomplished it, he’s more than willing to give any of them another shot. Miz makes his way to the ring, and is quick to demand his rematch; Cena notes that he knew Miz’s humility was too good to be true, and that his notorious motor-mouth would make a comment. Miz mentions that he knows Cena better than anyone – well enough to beat him. They are then joined by Mvp, Kofi, and Christian, all of whom agree that Miz is least deserving of a shot, but whom then bicker amongst themselves about which of them deserve a rematch. The Guest Host interrupts, and says that the four would-be contendors will compete in a 4-way match to determine a new #1-contendor. Later that night, the three faces make their entrances first, but before Miz comes out, they are attacked by Cody, Tj, and Smith; Trips-Shawn then run out to make the save. The next week, Miz confronts the three members of “Immolation”, but they claim that they were simply sending a message, namely that they’re sick of being overlooked. “Immolation” informs Miz that they have a match that night against Mvp-Kofi-Christian, but that Miz is welcome to be in their corner. Miz has no idea of what to make of them, but does decide to join them that night; in return, “DX” accompany the faces to the ring. It doesn’t take long for everything to break down and everyone brawls.

To sum things up, Trips, Shawn, Mvp, Kofi, and Christian are feuding with “Immolation” (Cody, Tj, Smith) and Miz. The Guest Host announces a brand new match for the “Danger Zone” PPV, something that he is calling a “Vortex” match. This match will be a 10-man tag match, 5 men on each team. Two men will be in the ring, while their teammates will stand around the ring on the floor; tags still work the same way, only now they’re done on the floor. The point of having the non-legal competitors on the floor is this: if a man is thrown out of the ring towards the opposing side, everyone on the floor is allowed to beat them up (similar to a “Lumberjack” match). The heels realize they need one more member for their team; Miz eventually convinces Show.

With everyone else tied up, Cena wonders who will face him at “Danger Zone”. Cena’s old rival Punk answers the call. Cena says that Punk has been a thorn in his side for a long time, and that he just wants things between them to be over. Punk agrees, and says that they should have one more match to determine which one of them is superior. Cena tells him that he’ll agree to one more match, and he’ll even let Punk pick the stipulation, on the condition that, win or lose, this is the end. Punk: “What could be more definitive than one of us ending-up in the hospital? You and I, in an ‘Ambulance’ match.” The two shake.

The Guest Host announces that he wants to have a very special match at “Danger Zone”, and announces three qualifying matches: Yang/Noble, Hurricane/Chavo, and Kidd/Santino. Yang, Hurricane, and Kidd win those matches. The three of them will now go on to face Bourne for the Cruiserweight Championship… in a “TLC” match!

                                              SMACKDOWN

The first episode after “Breaking Point”, the show opens with Long calling Swagger and Ezekiel to the ring. They make their way out, but Matt runs out behind them, and nails Swagger with a chair, sending Swagger rolling down the ramp; Matt then turns his attention to Ezekiel, hitting with the chair several times, which knocks the big man to one knee and causes him to try to regain his wits, but doesn’t do much other harm to him. Security eventually drags Matt away (at the behest of Long), as Swagger complains to Long, and we go to commercial. We come back with Swagger still complaining, and Ezekiel looking at Long menacingly; Long isn’t having any of it: “You better stop eyeing me up like that, or I WILL make you go one-on-one with The Undertakah!” Ezekiel merely smirks and tells Long to bring it. Long turns his attention back to Swagger, and tells him that: “Frankly, I think you both got what you deserved, and if I weren’t afraid of being held legally responsible, I would have let Matt do a whole lot more.” He says he hasn’t decided on what he’s going to do yet for “Danger Zone”, but he promises that the consequences will be severe. Later that night, as Matt is leaving the arena and getting into his car, he is blind-sided by Ezekiel, who throws him against the car several times, then crushes him with the car-door. The next week, Long mentions that Matt isn’t even in the building due to their attack, and cites that all of Ezekiel’s attacks have been from behind; at “Danger Zone”, Ezekiel will have to face Matt 1-on-1, and that Matt will be back next week to pick the stipulation. Later that night, as Swagger and Ezekiel are leaving, Matt attacks them in the parking lot; after attacking them both with chairs, he climbs into his own car, and attempts to run them over. Swagger and Ezekiel run away, but Matt yells “I’m not waiting ‘til next week! You and me in an ‘Iron Circle’ match!" The audience is later reminded of what an “Iron Circle” match is: the match is held in the parking-lot, inside a circle of cars, with the first man to leave the circle winning.

With Matt occupied with Ezekiel, Long announces a 6-way match to name a new #1-contendor to Swagger’s World Heavyweight Championship. The match features, Taker, Kane, Rey, Jericho, Edge, and Batista; Taker-Kane and Jericho-Edge end-up more concerned about each other than winning the match, with Rey eventually hitting the Hurricanrana the Batista for the win. Swagger eventually negotiates with Long that he needs a match where he can keep Rey “grounded”, and gets it made into a “Strap” match.

Jericho-Edge demand a rematch against Taker-Kane, and even acknowledge that, due to the new “Danger Zone” PPV being all about stipulation matches, they aren’t afraid of any of Taker’s preferred gimmicks. “Casket match? Buried Alive? We don’t care, we’re not scared”. At that moment, the stage and turnbuckles explode with fire, the arena turns red, and Kane appears on the screen. “You’re not scared of any type of match? Then you won’t mind if we make this match an ‘Inferno’ match! Mhuahahahaha!” Jericho-Edge are scared out of their minds.

McIntyre and Ziggler both want a shot at Morrison’s Television Championship; a 3-way is announced for the PPV.

                                              ECW

Tiffany announces that it’s finally time for Festus to get his revenge on Orton; the two will meet in a “Cage” match at “Danger Zone” for the ECW Championship.

                                              ///

TLC – Bourne and Hurricane are hanging from the wire that’s holding the Championship, only for Bourne to kick Hurricane off. Bourne retains the title.

Matt/Ezekiel – Matt uses hit-and-run offense to frustrate Zeke, but Zeke overpowers Matt. Zeke is about to leave the circle, only for KHALI to show-up and Brain-Chop Zeke, allowing Matt to win. Matt tells Zeke: “Two can play this game.”

Orton/Festus – Festus goes nuts on Orton, ramming him from side to side, getting a quick and easy win.

Morrison/McIntyre/Ziggler – Ziggler hits the “Zig Zag” on Morrison, but McIntyre quickly hits Ziggler with the Snap DDT for the win and the Championship.

Vortex – Again, the rules are that two men are in the ring, with the other eight on the floor around the ring; if a Superstar is thrown out of the ring on the opposition’s side, the opposition is allowed to beat on them until they get back into the ring. The match ends with Trips hitting the “Pedigree” on Smith for the win.

Swagger/Rey – The end comes when Swagger wraps the strap around Rey’s body, and then – with Rey completely tied-up – hits the Gutwrench Bomb for the win.

Cena/Punk – Cena dominates the majority of the match. Cena hits the “Attitude Adjuster”, and carries Punk over to the ambulance; he opens the doors, and is about to stuff Punk in, but Punk hits one big kick to Cena’s face, and quickly throws him in the ambulance for the win and the WWE Championship.

Taker-Kane/Jericho-Edge – The match is contested under “Tornado” rules, with all four men in the ring at the same time. Taker-Kane dominate the majority of the match, until Jericho and Edge decide to jump out of the ring, over the flames and out of harm’s way. Jericho-Edge quickly grab chairs and challenge Taker-Kane to follow them. Taker-Kane do (stepping over the ropes and down the steps very carefully), and the four begin brawling on the floor. Eventually, Taker grabs both Jericho and Edge by their throats, but the heels kick him in the groin, and then push Taker back into Kane, causing Kane to fall backwards into the flames. Jericho-Edge are announced as the champions and race up the ramp as Taker checks on Kane and EMTs rush out to help him.

                                              November, 2010

                                              RAW

Punk brags about his “absolute domination” of Cena, while the announcers mention that Cena was kept in the hospital overnight to find out if Punk’s final kick did any damage. Punk says that he’s proven time and time again that he has no peer in this business, but is then interrupted by Mvp, Kofi, and Christian. All three men remind Punk that they never did settle that #1-contendor business from a few weeks ago, and are here to demand their title-shots. The Guest Host decides that they will name a new #1-contendor at “Survivor Series”; Mvp, Kofi, Christian and a partner of their choice will face Punk and three partners of his choice, and that if anyone should eliminate Punk, that man will become the new #1-contendor. Christian suggests Yoshi as the fourth member of their team, while Punk convinces Miz, Smith, and Kozlov to team with him.

After a week off to sell the injury, Cena arrives back at “Raw”. Backstage, Show makes an offhand remark about how Cena’s never looked worse, “even after I blew you up”, which sends Cena over the edge; Cena attacks Show and beats him down.

Trips-Shawn continue to fued with Cody-Tj.

Bourne-Hurricane have a match against Cody-Tj, with Hurricane getting pinned. Bourne tries to help Hurricane back to his feet, but Hurricane attacks him. The next week, Hurricane – sporting a modified, grimy look to his tights and mask (similar to “The Joker” in “Batman: The Dark Knight”) – explains that he has finally seen the light. He thought that through hard-work and selfless acts, his life would be more rewarding, but now he understands that the world is dark, and that politics and back-stabbing are the norm. Bourne comes out to ask him what’s going on, so Hurricane explains that Bourne had been taking advantage of their friendship, hoping that his “friend” Hurricane wouldn’t be insulted if he didn’t receive any title-shots. Bourne tells him that if he wanted a title-shot, all he had to do was ask; Hurricane says that he had his title-shot at “Danger Zone”, where Bourne proved what kind of friend he was by sending Hurricane plummeting to the mat. Bourne says that he had to in order to win the match, to which Hurricane insinuates that Bourne was more concerned about retaining a title than he was about Hurricane’s friendship and safety. Bourne offers him a title-shot, but Hurricane says it’s too late before attacking him and leaving him lying.

Santino admits that he’s been on quite the work-out regimen in order to slim-down for the “Cruiserweight” division.

                                              SMACKDOWN

Jericho-Edge brag about what they’ve done to Kane; as they’re bragging, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Taker and Kane (with bandages covering the affected areas) are in the ring. Jericho and Edge dive out of the ring, but when they turn back around to see if they’re being followed, they see Kane grab Taker by the throat and Chokeslam him! Kane then lifts Taker and hits him with a “Tombstone” for good measure. Kane poses, the posts explode, and Kane walks back up the ramp, completely ignoring Jericho-Edge. The next week, Kane explains that he blames Taker for burning him at “Danger Zone”, just like Taker burned him all those years ago. Kane: “My brother apologized to me several times over the last few days, but deep down, I know he was lying. He lied to me for all those years about the fire that took our parents, and now he’s lying to me again. He was always jealous of me, and this was his opportunity to try to finish what he started. Mark my words, sweet brother, this is just getting started.” Taker comes out to respond, but is jumped by Jericho-Edge. It is revealed that, over the last week, Jericho-Edge have been getting into Kane’s head, and considering Kane’s emotional state at the moment, they’ve succeeded in fully convincing Kane that Taker was always jealous of him. As Jericho explains: “Deadman, this ‘Survivor Series’ marks your twentieth anniversary in WWE. And for twenty years, you’ve been ruling WWE with an iron fist. But your selfish ways have been going-on for longer than that, they started when you were but a child. Always picking on Kane, always trying to get him to live-up to your impossible expectations, punishing him in the most extreme ways imaginable, until your punishments went to a place that even you yourself couldn’t have predicted they’d go. You lost your parents, and now you’ve lost your brother. And it’s all your fault. And I say enough is enough. Twenty years we’ve had to deal with your selfishness, I say it’s time for you to do something truly selfless for a change. If you want your revenge on us, you can have it at ‘Survivor Series’… as long as you put your career on the line.”

Taker confronts Long about the match, and is shocked to find out that Long actually thinks the retirement-stipulation is a good idea. Long: “To be perfectly honest, playa, I don’t even think I should be signing a match between you and Kane. I know what you’re both capable of, and I know the effects it could have on the entire locker-room. But I also realize that if I DON’T give you a match with Kane, the two of you will be even more destructive than you normally would be, and I can’t let the personal war between you two destroy ‘Smackdown’. I’m keeping the retirement-stipulation in, because I’m hoping it’ll help you realize how much you’d be losing if you go over the edge.” Long signs a 5-on-5 elimination match for “Survivor Series”, with Taker captaining one team, and Kane-Jericho-Edge as three of his opponents.

Matt-Rey-Khali continue to feud with Swagger-Ezekiel; Kaval volunteers to help Swagger-Ezekiel take-out Rey, so that they can focus on Matt-Khali. Long announces that the six of them will be competing in an 8-man tag at “Survivor Series”, so they had all better find an extra partner. Ziggler steps up for the heels. Backstage, Matt bumps into Reks, and asks if he’d like a shot at the spotlight; Reks accepts.

                                              All of the tag-teams (Jtg-Shad, Carlito-Primo, Finlay-Sheamus, Ryder-Hawkins, Haas-Benjamin) strive for dominance.

                                              ECW

Festus teams with Truth-Henry against Orton-Regal-Burchill; half-way through the match, Truth turns on his team and attacks Festus. He later explains that he feels he’s overdue a shot at the title.

Masters beats both Regal and Burchill in singles-matches, then challenges for the Television Championship.

                                              INTERFED

Taker is on a mission to find four partners. Cena is the first to volunteer. Trips-Shawn then volunteer, citing the fact that the three of them have never seen eye-to-eye, but there is a lot of mutual respect, and the WWE has been a better place for having him. The four now need one more partner. After one of Morrison’s matches on “Smackdown”, “DX” make a surprise appearance, and offer him the final slot on the team; Morrison graciously accepts.

As for the Kane-Jericho-Edge team, Batista is quick to volunteer. Jericho-Edge then make a surprise appearance on “Raw”, and ask Show to be their partner; Show refuses at first, citing all of the bad blood stemming from them betraying him over the Tag Championships, but soon changes his tune when they mention that he could go down in history as “The Man That Retired The Undertaker”.

Cody-Tj petition and are added to the “Smackdown” tag-team elimination match.

Benjamin eliminates Shad, Carlito eliminates Ryder. Tj eliminates Primo, and Sheamus eliminates Benjamin. It’s down to Finlay-Sheamus against Cody-Tj. Sheamus dominates Tj for a while, until Tj thumbs Sheamus in the eye; both men tag out, with Cody getting a quick roll-up on Finlay for the win.

McIntyre/Masters – McIntyre distracts the ref and kicks Masters low, then hits the Snap DDT for the win.

SD – Reks begins the match with Ezekiel; Reks hits a few hit-and-run moves, but one big clothesline from Zeke eliminates him. Zeke challenges Khali to get into the ring, and the two have a brief stare-down. Zeke hits the ropes and tries to knock Khali down, but Khali doesn’t budge. Zeke tries again, and gets Khali a bit unbalanced, but Khali still doesn’t go down. Zeke tries one more time, but Khali Brain-Chops him; Zeke falls to the ground hurt, and rolls to tag Kaval. Kaval runs circles around Khali, frustrating Khali, and forcing him to tag Rey. Kaval and Rey battle for a while. Rey eventually gets Kaval down, and tags Matt; this prompts Swagger to ask Kaval to tag him in. The two go back-and-forth for a while, with Swagger generally getting the upper-hand, but Matt refuses to be pinned. Swagger tags back out to Ezekiel; Ezekiel circles around Matt, but then runs and knocks Khali off the apron! Khali falls to the floor with a thud and lets out a loud scream! Matt and Rey go to check on Khali, who has apparently broken his leg; EMTs run down to help Khali, eventually helping him to the back. Ezekiel, feeling he’s done his part, tags Ziggler in and demands that he finish the job. When Matt gets back in the ring, Ziggler attempts to stop him; he (Ziggler) receives a quick “Twist of Fate” for his trouble. Ezekiel then orders Kaval to get in there; Kaval hits a few quick hits on Matt, sending Matt into his own corner – Kaval charges at Matt, but Matt dodges and tags Rey, who quickly hits a Springboard Seated-Senton on Kaval to eliminate him. Swagger directs Ezekiel to destroy Rey; Rey attacks Ezekiel as he enters the ring, and hits a few stick-and-run moves, but Ezekiel catches him with the Uranage Slam for the elimination. It’s down to Matt against Swagger-Ezekiel. Ezekiel beats on Matt for a while, tossing him around like rag-doll, and generally playing with him. Zeke hits a few big clotheslines on Matt, then presses him over his head… Matt, however, wriggles out and down into a Sunset Flip, getting the quick three! Zeke is furious, and hits another clothesline before leaving. Swagger gets into the ring with the groggy Matt, assuming this will be easy. Swagger signals that he’s going to finish Matt off, and goes for the Gutwrench Powerbomb; he lifts Matt, but in mid-air, Matt wraps his legs around Swagger’s head and hits a Hurricanrana for the 1-2-3! Matt celebrates while Swagger argues with the ref on the outside.
                                              Survivor: Matt

Raw – Kofi hits the “Trouble in Paradise” on Vladimir to eliminate him, and Christian hits the “Killswitch” on Smith to eliminate him. Yoshi begins to kick the hell out of Miz, but Miz eventually ducks one kick, and quickly hits the “Skullcrushing Finale” to eliminate Yoshi. Miz is feeling pretty high, but Mvp hits him with the “Playmaker” to eliminate him. Punk, realizing the odds are against him, decides to walk up the ramp; the faces yell at him to get back in the ring, but the ref counts him out.
                                              Survivors: Mvp, Christian, Kofi

Festus/Truth – Truth uses his speed to keep Festus off-balance, taking him down and then beating on him. He eventually scores a quick roll-up for a surprise pin, then quickly gets out of Festus’ reach.

Taker – Morrison makes his entrance first, followed by Cena, then “DX”. The lights then go down, and four druids make their way out, in preparation of Taker’s entrance; Taker eventually makes his entrance, when the druids attack him! The faces run to help him, where it’s revealed that the “druids” were actually Jericho, Edge, Batista, and Show! The nine men battle in the aisle, BOOM! Kane makes his way out, and all ten men battle down the aisle and around the ring. The match hasn’t even started yet and everybody’s already fighting! Things eventually settle down, and the ref signals for the bell. Morrison begins the match against Jericho, but Jericho soon tags Show, and Morrison tags Trips. After just a few minutes, Trips catches Batista with the “Pedigree”, eliminating him. Show comes in next, and catches Trips with his big “Knockout Punch”, eliminating Trips! Cena now gets in the ring, and he and Show go back-and-forth for a while; Cena backs Show up into the heels’ corner, and gets Show up for the “Attitude Adjuster” – Cena hits the “Attitude Adjuster”, but doesn’t realize that Show had tagged Edge… Cena goes to cover Show, but the ref explains that Show isn’t the legal man; Cena turns around, right into a “Spear” by Edge! Edge covers Cena, with Cena kicking-out just after the 3-count. Edge sarcastically waves bye-bye to Cena, prompting Cena to smirk… and hit him with the “Attitude Adjuster”! Morrison quickly hits “Starship Pain” on Edge to eliminate him. Kane now gets into the ring for the first time, followed by Taker getting into the ring for the first time; the two brawl back and forth, until Show hits Taker with the “Knockout Punch” from the apron… Kane then hits the “Tombstone” on Taker… Jericho then tags himself in and hits the “Lionsault”… Jericho covers… 1, 2, Taker kicks out. Taker sits up and grabs Jericho by the throat and choke-slams him! Taker goes to pin Jericho, but Kane and Show get into the ring to distract the ref, prompting Taker to get off of Jericho and grab the two of them by their throats; Kane and Show beat him down, while the ref administers the ten-count. The ref gets to ten, and tells Kane and Show to get back on the apron, but the two ignore him; this leads to Shawn and Morrison entering the ring, leading to a big brawl amongst all six men. The ref just lets it go, with Shawn diving at Kane, leading to the two falling out of the ring; Morrison and Show follow. Taker and Jericho are left in the ring, while the other four men do battle on the floor. Kane grabs Shawn and Morrison by the throat, essentially holding them there, as Show gets back into the ring; Taker lifts Jericho for the “Tombstone”, but gets caught in the face by Show’s “Knockout Punch”, causing Taker to fall backwards with Jericho on top of him. Of course, the ref was too distracted yelling at Kane to stop choking Shawn and Morrison, but once Kane notices Jericho pinning Taker, he yells at the ref to turn around just in time to count 1, 2, 3! Taker has been eliminated! The announcers note that it’s down to Shawn-Morrison against the monstrous Kane-Show and maniacal Jericho, but Taker isn’t through yet – he grabs Show by the throat, backs him into the corner, and just absolutely MAULS him with punches. Jericho yells at the ref to get him out of the ring, so Taker turns his attention to Jericho now; Jericho runs, and Taker pursues him. Long makes his way out, and pleads with Taker to allow the match to finish properly; he is then interrupted by Batista and Edge, who say that if Taker won’t leave the ring, they’ll do it for him. Before Batista and Edge can get down the ramp, though, Trips and Cena run down and beat them up; Taker then joins in the melee, and all of the eliminated competitors brawl up the ramp and to the back. As all this is going on, Show is yelling at the ref to regain control, so much so that he doesn’t realize Shawn is standing right behind him; Show turns around, and gets hit with the “Super Kick”! Shawn covers, 1, 2, Show powers out! Show roars mightily and pulls the straps of his singlet down, as Shawn is in disbelief. Show manhandles Shawn for a while, getting Shawn into his corner, where the heels then proceed to work him over with quick tags. Kane eventually lifts Shawn for the “Tombstone”, but Shawn rolls forward into a Victory Roll for the elimination! It’s down to Shawn-Morrison against Jericho-Show. Shawn tags Morrison, whom attempts to run circles around Show, but Show manages to beat him down, as well. After beating on Morrison for a while, Show decides to be a little cocky, and hits Shawn; Shawn attempts to get into the ring, while Show and Jericho double-team Morrison. A minute later, Show does it AGAIN, hitting Shawn, and then double-teaming Morrison. Show whips Morrison into a neutral corner, and hits a big Knife-Edge Chop; Show then props Morrison up in the corner, and then walks to the opposite corner, prepping him for a big Avalanche. Show runs at Morrison, but Morrison rolls out of the way; with Show now resting against the corner, Morrison hits a desperation Super-Kick on Show at the same time that Shawn connects with one from the apron! Show is down! Show is pinned! It’s down to Shawn-Morrison against Jericho. Jericho plays it smart, using his experience to out-wrestle Morrison. Jericho goes for a “Lionsault”, but Morrison rolls out of the way; Jericho lands on his feet, but Morrison quickly hits the “Moonlight Drive”. Morrison covers, but Jericho kicks-out at two. Morrison then tags Shawn; Jericho immediately goes for the “Code Breaker”, but Shawn reverses into a “Sharpshooter”! Shawn applies the pressure, but Jericho makes the ropes. Jericho then gets Shawn in the “Walls of Jericho”, with Shawn almost tapping, but juuust making the ropes. Jericho argues with the ref, when he gets hit with the “Super Kick”! Shawn quickly tags Morrison, who quickly bounces into the ring and hits “Starship Pain”! Morrison covers, Morrison wins! Shawn and Morrison celebrate, with Shawn congratulating Morrison and raising his hand in victory.

After the match, Morrison and Shawn celebrate for a few moments, until the gong sounds, and the lights go out. When they come back on, Taker is in the ring, shaking the hands of both men. Taker asks for the mic: “Twenty years ago, the Undertaker entered WWE to battle demons and slay dragons. Over the next twenty years, the Undertaker never waivered in his quest to dominate and demand respect. Tonight, the Undertaker has won the right to continue on for another twenty years. But no man can battle demons alone, nor can they battle them forever. Even the Undertaker needs to rest his weary soul. Tonight, I leave WWE in capable hands. I needed to find men I could count on, to battle evil in all of its forms. Shawn Michaels, a man that has battled everyone there is to battle in the last twenty years, and John Morrison, a man that will battle them for the next twenty. Along with Triple H, John Cena, Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio, MVP, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, and so many others, I leave WWE in their hands. Men that are not only able to battle demons, but also choose to slay dragons. I leave WWE in their hands, and I leave them to care for my Creatures of the Night. The time has come for the Undertaker to return to Death Valley, but he will not be gone forever – the spirit of the Undertaker is ever-lasting, and I will return when the outlook looks bleakest. Until then, the Undertaker shall Rest! In! Peace!” Taker’s music hits, the arena goes blue, and Taker gets down on his knee; the ring and surrounding area fill with smoke, and when it clears, Taker is gone. Shawn and Morrison decide that there’s nothing else to do but to get down on their knees, striking Taker’s signature pose, as we go off the air.

                                              December, 2010

                                              RAW

The night after “Survivor Series” begins with a replay of Taker’s retirement speech, followed by a video-package of his career. Jericho then makes his way out, and brags that he accomplished his goal – to retire Taker. He talks about how, yes, his team may have technically “lost” the match, but even after winning the right to continue on with his career, Taker was so crippled by fear at the thought of facing Jericho again, he instead decided to retire. Jericho brags a bit more, until he is interrupted by Shawn. Shawn says that Jericho is taking Taker’s retirement completely out of context – what actually happened was that Taker had beaten Jericho and his cohorts so many time that he simply got tired of it. Jericho mocks Shawn’s smugness, to which Shawn says that, usually, he has no problem maintaining a sense-of-humor about things, but – getting deadly serious – he hasn’t forgotten that Jericho once punched his wife. Shawn: “You’re one of very few people that I have absolutely no patience for.” Shawn is about to hit Jericho, when EDGE attacks from behind. Jericho-Edge double-team Shawn for a bit, until Trips runs out; the heels bail just as Trips hits the ring. The Guest Host then makes an announcement: While he normally wouldn’t have any say over “Smackdown”-contracted Superstars like Jericho and Edge, since they decided to come onto “Raw” and attack “Raw”-contracted Superstars, he’s making a decision – with the next PPV being “Night of Champions”, Jericho-Edge will defend the Tag Championships against Trips-Shawn… and if Jericho-Edge don’t like it, they can take it up with the WWE Board of Directors.

On the same night, Punk brags about how he overcame the stipulation in his match the previous night, that being that nobody on the opposing side pinned him to become the #1-contendor. Mvp, Christian, and Kofi all interrupt him, and remind him that the stipulation was actually whether or not he “lost” to any member of their team – since Punk’s self-imposed count-out left the three of them as the survivors for their team, they feel that Punk owes all THREE of them a shot at the WWE Championship. They then inform him that they just spoke with the Guest Host, and he’s already signed the 4-way match for the next PPV. A match for that night is also signed: a one-fall rematch from the night before, as Mvp-Christian-Kofi-Yoshi take on Punk-Miz-Smith-Vladimir. Mvp pins Punk in that match.

Yoshi challenges for the Television Championship.

The Divas Championship will be on the line at the PPV.

                                              SMACKDOWN

Long announces that, at “Night of Champions”, Swagger will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Matt, with the added stipulation that everybody is barred from ringside; on top of that, if anybody dares to interfere during the match, that person will be fired on the spot! From there, Matt tells Swagger that he hopes he sees “the old Jack Swagger”, the one that didn’t rely on outside interference; Swagger promises that Matt won’t only see “the old Jack Swagger”, but “the best Jack Swagger”.

Rey approaches Long to ask a favor – seeing as how “Raw” is getting a shot at the Tag Championships, he was hoping that he could get a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship. Long thinks it’s a great idea, and immediately places a phone call; the match is signed for “Night of Champions”.

Jericho brags and brags about retiring Taker. Trips-Shawn return the sneak-attack from “Raw”.

The Womens Championship will be on the line at the PPV.

                                              ECW

Truth brags about winning the ECW Championship the night before, when he is interrupted by Tiffany. Tiffany announces that she has already named a new #1-contendor; Truth guesses that Festus is getting “yet another” shot, but Tiffany says it’s somebody else that has a problem with Truth’s recent attitude – Henry’s music hits, and Henry stalks Truth, but Truth gets out of the ring and avoids him. From there, Truth attacks Henry backstage, leaving him lying.

Festus wants revenge on Festus, but Tiffany tries to keep him calm, claiming that he has another shot at the title – and the man wearing it – at “Night of Champions”.

                                              INTERFED

A Battle Royal is signed for “Night of Champions” that is open to all former World Champions from all three brands. Participants will include Cena and Show (“Raw”); Batista, Morrison, Kane, Khali, Ryder, and Funaki (“Smackdown”); Festus, Orton, Dreamer, and Regal (“ECW”). And this isn't just any Battle Royal, but the winner will receive a "Money-in-the-Bank" contract!

Jericho-Edge/Trips-Shawn – Jericho goes for the “Code Breaker”, but Shawn reverses into the “Sharpshooter”; Edge jumps into the ring to save him, but Trips tosses him as Jericho taps. Trips-Shawn celebrate as Edge and Jericho argue on their way up the ramp.

                                              Divas – X.

McIntyre/Yoshi – McIntyre dominates most of the match, but Yoshi comes back with a flurry of kicks for the win.

Backstage: Edge is in the dressing-room getting changed, when Jericho barges in. Jericho says that he just came from Long’s office; when Edge asks why, Jericho simply says “you’ll see… I don’t need you anymore.”

Truth/Henry – Truth stops running from Henry, and just absolutely mauls him down in the ring. The announcers note that they’ve never seen Truth so aggressive, he seems to have no remorse. Truth beats Henry down in the corner, and continues to pound on him until the ref stops the match. Henry is announced as the winner via disqualification, prompting Truth to beat on Henry a little more after the match.

MITB – Funaki is the first out, followed by Ryder. The remaining ten men end-up brawling as follows: Cena/Show, Batista/Morrison, Kane/Khali, Festus/Orton, and Dreamer/Regal. Khali dumps Kane, and Dreamer dumps Regal. The teams then divide into 4-on-4, Cena-Morrison-Khali-Festus against Show-Batista-Orton-Dreamer. Morrison tosses Dreamer, followed by Show dumping Khali, and Festus dumping Show. Morrison attempts to help Festus dump Orton, but Festus – not caring who gets in his way – tosses Morrison; Festus then looks behind him to see what happened, allowing Orton the opportunity to toss Festus. Festus is furious, but Morrison calms him down and leads him to the back. Familiar enemies Cena, Batista, and Orton are the last three in the ring. The three circle for a moment, and meet in the middle of the ring, fighting whomever is closest. Cena and Batista work together for a moment, eliminating Orton. Cena and Batista battle back-and-forth, eventually leaning on the ropes, trying to shove each other over… suddenly, Jericho runs down the ramp, and tosses both of them! Cena and Batista are confused, but Jericho’s music plays… only for EDGE to run out of the crowd, jump in the ring, and dump Jericho! Edge is announced as the winner, and handed the “MITB” briefcase, as Cena and Batista chase Jericho up the ramp.

Swagger/Matt – Matt hits Swagger with the “Twist of Fate”, but Swagger kicks-out at two. Swagger then hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Matt kicks out. One more “Twist of Fate” is enough for Matt to get the win. Matt extends his hand to Swagger, and – after a few moments to think about it – Swagger shakes it. Matt celebrates the win, but Edge’s music hits! Matt begins to look in all directions, realizing that Edge could attack from anywhere; Edge picks his spot, and jumps into the ring when Matt isn’t looking. Edge hits the Spear on Matt! The ref counts 1, 2, but Matt kicks out! Edge goes to hit another Spear, but Matt moves out of the way; Matt then spins Edge around and hits the “Twist of Fate”, 1, 2, 3!

Punk/Mvp/Christian/Kofi – At the end of the match, Punk is thrown out of the ring. Kofi hits the “Trouble in Paradise” on Christian, but Mvp then hits the “Playmaker” on Kofi – Mvp pins Kofi for the win. Kofi and Christian both congratulate Mvp and celebrate his win with him, as Punk complains all the way up the ramp.
